The Gemini Group is a full-scale communications firm specializing in internet-based communication packages.  The name of our company says a lot about who we are and the services we can provide. Gemini is the astrological sign of the twins.  Jennifer Wilson Tierney and Anne Wilson Kearns, principals in the company, are fraternal twin sisters. With an extra nine months to get to know each other, they offer truly integrated services to their clients!  

Jennifer, the founder of the company, is the Gemini Group's webmaster and business coordinator.  With five years of experience developing web pages, she combines these skills with her community and public affairs experience to offer clients assistance in every aspect of web development. Jennifer graduated from the College of William and Mary with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1988. Her career includes ten years with the San Diego County Department of Agriculture, Weights and Measures as a program manager responsible for community outreach, planning and land use issues and environmental concerns. She developed the Department’s first web page and acted as webmaster until recently. She currently lives in Williamsburg, Virginia and serves clients there as well as in San Diego.  Click here to e-mail Jennifer.

Anne Kearns has worked in the communications and marketing field for 10 years. A business management graduate of the College of William and Mary in Virginia, Anne launched her career at an independent advertising agency in Williamsburg, Virginia. She then moved to San Diego, where she served as the Communications Program Manager for the San Diego County Farm Bureau. There, she worked closely with local agencies to promote the Farm Bureau, its members and agricultural products grown in San Diego County. She then joined Columbia Healthcare, Inc., as a Director of Marketing for its Southwest Florida division in Ft. Myers, Florida. Her work included a nationally recognized pediatric marketing program and the development of an award-winning customer service program. A resident of Ft. The Gemini Group has a simple philosophy of web design. We believe:

• Web users want instant access and expect information to be current.

• Graphics are an important component of a web site, but need to be designed so that they accent, rather than impede, the web user.

• People do not read material on a website the same way they read print. Text on a website needs to be short and strategically located for maximum effect.

• Our most important job is to integrate the needs and desires of our clients with our knowledge of web design. We take webmastering one step further by becoming strategic partners with clients to enhance their ability to conduct business on the web.
